Gina Leiser is an experienced trial lawyer. Ms. Leiser served as a prosecutor in Palm Beach County for three years, during which time she litigated a variety of cases from misdemeanor offenses to life felonies. Ms. Leiser’s extensive trial experience includes cases such as Attempted First Degree Murder, Armed Burglary, Sexual Battery, Driving under the Influence, and Domestic Battery. During her tenure as a prosecutor, Ms. Leiser was known as one of the toughest, most aggressive, and skilled trial lawyers at the State Attorney’s Office. As a prosecutor, Ms. Leiser was responsible for evaluating criminal cases to determine what charges should be filed, litigating motions to suppress and motions to dismiss, as well as prosecuting cases through trial.

Prior to beginning her career as a prosecutor, Ms. Leiser graduated from the University of Miami School of Law with honors, where she was the Executive Editor of the University of Miami Business Law Review. Ms. Leiser clerked for the Department of Justice in the Criminal Antitrust Division, working on complex multinational white collar crimes. She also clerked for the Broward County State Attorney’s Office in the Sex Crimes and Child Abuse Unit.

Ms. Leiser is a member of the Florida Bar Criminal Law Section and the Family Law Section. Ms. Leiser is also a member of the Palm Beach County Bar Association and she is a member of the Criminal Law Committee and the Professionalism Committee in Palm Beach County. Ms. Leiser joined the firm in 2011 and has been handling criminal defense and family law cases since.
