One of the many great rights we have in the U.S. is that everyone is innocent until proven guilty. Reflecting his passion for this principle and preserving the public’s constitutional rights, Richard Tendler, Esq. of the Law Offices of Richard Tendler in West Palm Beach and Boca Raton has created a free “American Rights Card.”
If the police believe someone is a suspect, that person has every right not to speak to the police until he or she speaks with an attorney. The card reinforces this constitutional right and others, including the right to prohibit unreasonable searches and seizures of the suspect and his or her belongings, and the suspect’s right to leave if he/she is not presently under arrest or under investigatory detention.
The “American Rights Card,” which also serves as Mr. Tendler’s business card, encourages users to call 844-9-RIGHTS (Tendler’s office) to confirm their rights. It looks and feels like a credit card, and can easily be placed in a wallet or pocket. The “American Rights Card” is better than an American Express card, and it’s priceless!
The “American Rights Card” is now available, and available to be mailed/given to anyone who requests it. Mr. Tendler will also be handing out the cards at his speaking engagements and charity events.
